Owls Hoot, Clanwilliam 

Owl`s Hoot Cottage is a self-catering, two - bedroomed cottage on the edge of Clanwilliam. It had its origins in the 1930`s. It is set in a garden next to the owner`s house and has a view of the swimming pool.

The cottage is suitable for tourists and working people. It is situated about 10 km from the Rocklands bouldering sites. There is free wi-fi, air-conditioning and DSTV. We are very close to town – about 1km from the closest restaurant and supermarket. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, fridge, clothes washer and a dining area suitable for 5 people. It is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, cookware, glasses and small electric appliances. There is a portable braai (bbq) which can be used on the cottage verandah.

Two bedrooms are furnished with a double bed in one and two single beds in the other. Bedding, linen and towels are supplied. The shower room and toilet are not en suite. In winter, we also supply electric blankets. The pool is available to guests and there is a driveway next to the cottage where visitors can park their cars behind a gate.

Clanwilliam is known for the scenic Cederberg Wilderness area where there are many walking and hiking trails, rock art sites and bouldering possibilities. In spring we have a multitude of indigenous flowers. Owl`s Hoot Cottage is a short drive from all these destinations.
